Burgundy And Burnt Orange Centerpieces

Planet Office, the web series which puts the SD box

ICOM unveiled today Pollutec a webseries that "puts the SD box." Tour in Full HD and broadcast on the Internet this webseries humorous and offbeat, deals with sustainable development in business. Office Planet is the adventure of a DD manager, whose name could already sense his thirst for nature: Marguerite Verdier. Thus, for 3 minutes, Margaret tries to bring, with bravery and a little mischief "green" in a highly codified. Each episode is an excuse to attack a specific subject. Camera Cafe's DD!

Planet Office is an outreach project supported by the original three structures in Midi-Pyrenees: the agency ICOM , the company of 4 and Pollens.
The objective of World Bureau is to change attitudes in an original and positive in the right mood. But because of the serious as the series delivers real messages and especially gives the slopes and concrete solutions to act through "resource files" for each episode developed in partnership with the ADEME and Arpe Midi-Pyrenees. This is a tool for guiding sustainable development! Icom has also produced episodes on order for internal use as a WebTV, a seminar ...

The premiere takes place today at forum Buy & Care for Pollutec .

See you on www.planete-bureau.fr to watch the first 3 episodes! 9 other episodes are already written but awaiting funding, bare hope that the team will quickly find partners!
This project is supported by URSSAF, the Region Midi-Pyrenees, the City of Balma, Fagor Brandt and Special negotiated travel. With the support of ADEME Midi-Pyrenees, Midi-Pyrenees ARPE and society charts.

Samples Of Dental Recall Letters

Technology and drift you say? Let's be optimistic!

This post is my contribution to the 4th edition Blogosphèrna organized by the blog Karhba Kamyoune and the theme " Tunisian society between values and technological drift .

It is true that Tunisians are constantly on the lookout for any new technology, more and more households have Internet Radios to be talking about Android , d ' iPhone and Apple as if all the Tunisian had these "gadgets" non-price, people talk about Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg to cafeterias, as if they were their friends ...
The democratization of all these technologies I remember when we ' was right for TV's Tunis 7 , Channel 2 (France 2) and Raiuno , (besides all the Italian master fifties) and then came the famous "Parable " with dozens of bouquets, we really knew more than watch, we spent the evening channel surfing to find some more, after long years to enter the Egyptian soap opera every evening with the family after dinner (I know you're back memories-_-) here it has every color: Mexican, Turkish, ...
For Internet is like before (in the 90's) someone who considered himself a simple email address geek technology, now with all these social networks, people do not really know what to do ...

short I personally think that any technology can be used well or badly, it depends on many things (and there is enough to power a year Blogosphèrna there), although the arrival of social networks in Tunisia and Facebook mainly brought a lot of changes in habits and daily lives of those who have access (yes, because we must not forget that it's about a minority and that most are struggling to make ends meet ... and here too there for another year of Blogosphèrna) A positive change for some and negative for others, it depends on individuals and their uses, it is not something you can generalize or quantify I think ...

I still remain optimistic and I do not attribute this "drift" which grows from day to day social networks, on the contrary, I think even that is a good thing and everyone will eventually find his account ...

I take the example of two events organized via Facebook recently:

Before there was talk of empty granaries , we wanted to appeal to organize with us, but nobody knew no how! Here's an example of an intelligent person ( Sarra Sara ) has seized on these networks in a direction favoring the exchange, sharing and closeness between people ...

That goes for all those meetings between old friends like the one recently held by former my high school that I welcome the same opportunity

Hey, Bilel Besbes example, our young Tunisian , could he give birth to Blogosphèrna without social media? No I do not think because I discovered via his Facebook page :)

Finally I would say we can not measure the impact of democratization technologies in Tunisia before very long years, it has to reach a balance to be able to judge, in the meantime I invite you to positively and to follow the example of intelligent people who have taken advantage of and exploit all media their potential;)

Dillards Formal Desses

A review of our land by Le Monde

Quick Post of the promotion Occasional THE WORLD "Planet Review 2010," which was released last Thursday (November 18). This 2 e edition is a state of the planet after the failure of the Copenhagen Summit: the offensive of climate skeptics, Europe and GMOs, the controversy around global warming and the increase in natural disasters ... Fortunately, we do not throw out the window, found in the last part of the magazine of positive initiatives launched around the world (like the hanging gardens on the roofs of Mexico City or the plastic factory without oil in Brazil). Other things also very practical: a timeline, graphics and a selection of books.

Cm On Clomid Before Af

Pollutec 2010

If you are a professional renewable energy, green IT, waste management, if you are involved to CSR or if you're just interested in sustainable development, the exhibition will illuminate Pollutec your projects. The show was indeed held this year in the City of Lights (from November 30 to December 3). As a reminder, Pollutec, the international exhibition of equipment, technologies and services, is a leading global market environment. In a growing industry, it has even become a major event.

Let's pretend for the Marjolaine fair: from blah to explain that the show is a great show and if you do not go you're missing something. And then I take you behind the scenes to see how the organizers have downplayed the environmental impact of the show (with my comments).

Tech International, informative and rewarding, here in 4 words what Pollutec.

-Lounge 'tech': more than 200 technological innovations in all sectors.
-An international exhibition: 47 countries present with "small" developments such as China and India.
-Lounge instructive: 300 conferences and events organized by all partners and exhibitors. Little focus on the space dedicated to responsible purchasing, Buy & Care, home to the first time a forum "Social Responsibility and Communication", and allows professionals addressing issues of sustainable development to design and implement a communication line with their overall approach. This will include participation in interactive workshops and attending conferences (How to reduce the environmental footprint of its printed communication? - Socio-Eco-design of a communication activity - Unite-parties involved in an eco- design).

-Lounge rewarding: AWARDS 2010 as the Business Awards and environment ( Meta-It, I told you there shortly, will travel!), the European Prize for Environmental Innovation (EEP Awards), the award for Innovation & Buy Trophy Care or eco-design of the stands will reward the best innovations recognized by industry experts.
These trophies are orchestrated by the communications agency responsible and Toulouse, but it is almost a tautology; ) - ICOM (also behind the show Buy & Care). Among the selection criteria: a choice of materials coatings and recyclable or reusable, the establishment of a multi-collection of waste, reducing consumption of electricity for lighting the stand, reducing waste production, modes of travel, catering. ..

More information:

Organised by Reed Exhibitions France, led Pollutec for several years an evolutionary approach to improved environmental performance.
Additionally, ICOM has been selected to assist the organizers of Pollutec to step up their commitments in eco-design of printed communication the exhibition, especially for the space dedicated to responsible purchasing Buy & Care, whose agency is at the origin.
Let us see what steps have been taken in organizing the exhibition.
1) Print all documents promotion of the show on paper from well managed forests at printers members Imprim'Vert .
-> mmmh ... can not do better? PEFC certification , or even better than FSC would have been more serious than the label Imprim'Vert whose specification remains limited. Icom however indicates that platelets are living Buy & Care FSC ® ... but if Icom has taken place on the communication forum Buy & Care then this is a shame for the rest of the print!
2) Widespread use of electronic communications and web tools to reduce paper consumption, including dematerialisation technical guide.

3) Providing stands "green" wood or cardboard.
-> Too bad that all the proposed stands are not green. Instead of choosing between the stand "green", the "basic", "comfort" and "special equipment" would have been great to have several choices in the pits environmentalists.

4) Devices for collection of waste to facilitate recycling of 118 tons of waste generated at the show: setting up Points Tri (paper / cardboard, glass and other waste), collection of glass on the stands and recovery aluminum cans around the bar, in partnership with CKFD.
-> cans that are not "at the edge of the bar" are therefore left out?!

5) Set up carpooling with 123 envoiture.com
-> I had searched in vain in the event tab site, no trace of Pollutec

6) Eco-Design Buy & Care: Using board partitions dyed, low voltage lighting and carpet recovered and valued in the manufacture of shoes, insoles and mats.

7) Send all mailings to exhibitors conducted by HANDIRECT (business network that employs the majority of disabled employees)

8) Online as a CO2 calculator that allows visitors to evaluate emissions CO2 produced during their trip to the show and to offset the impact of their displacement by a grant (Action Carbone Foundation GoodPlanet)

9) Use the entire living room of a carpet of walks which will be recovered and valued at 100% in the manufacture of shoes, insoles and mats. This operation avoids the start-BOT nearly 13 tons of carpet
-> good idea!

When Pollutec Horizons 2009, 46% of waste was recovered lounge.
>> More info on the balance sheet sorting Pollutec Horizons 2009

In 2010, Pollutec a step further by implementing its carbon footprint by the agency INDDIGO . The scope will span all activities of the show and in particular:
- Emissions from Eurexpo (heating, immobilization )
- Emissions from the activity of the living: pits (including end of life), waste, food
- Emissions from transportation (exhibitors, visitors ..)

Herpes Hand Sanitizer

A TV a little green, a computer very green!

ago I bought a dozen days a television. WHAT? You do not have a TV?! To confess all my move I have not even held three months before bursting. (2 months and 17 days) Not even expected to find a solution to retrieve my little tv as a student, taken hostage in the family cottage Traussois (name of village that has won many atrocious puns ...). Completely lost without television, I am now well advanced with programs lackluster, I finally did watch the lights for pub. But I digress from my subject ... TV Philips LED Econova. No, this is not the model I bought but it was awarded the European Green EV 2010-2011, by the European Imaging & Sound Association. This TV is indeed supposed to have been designed to preserve the environment without sacrificing performance. And according to EISA (European Imaging and Sound Association), the Econova LCD TV would be the greenest in Europe. What to look on the screen.

Let us study the ecological characteristics of the TV:
Consumption
- Thanks to latest LED technology (which allows more high quality image) this TV in standard mode consumes 58W, 40W in eco fashion (60% lower than a TV equivalent), and 0.09 W in standby mode.
- Zero Power switch to 0W reducing consumption when the TV is off
- Remote solar
Materials
- Packaging 100% recyclable as paper and cardboard made up (without pads or polystyrene plastic bags)
- Made from recycled materials and easily recyclable (no PVC or flame retardants brominated)
- Screen and frame made from recycled aluminum and 60%
- Manual in electronic

Nice challenge for Philips. But let us not be completely fooled, please.
A switch that reduces consumption 0W when TV is off ... but this super switch Power Zero would it not the famous button that are never used because it is on TV is that we too lazy stand up? Where is the revolution? AAAH if the button is on the remote! Too bad the slogan "Move over" of our government.
On standby mode, an EU directive EuP since 2010 requires manufacturers of electrical and electronic products to limit consumption to 1 or 2 eves W Max and 2013 figures are down between 0.5 and 1 W max. 0.09 W good so it's a good note.
Then why a manual mail? Already it's not necessarily obvious to install a TV, if in addition we must have fun to download a document and then read it on a computer that is perhaps not in the same room as our TV ... what print the record ourselves. The economy is the manufacturer and really for the planet ...
Finally, do all these innovations to prevent the TV full of arsenic, lead, cadmium ...?

But little talk, speak well. I have for you a product which, like this TV, do not consume more than a bulb. It's not TV but I still wanted to tell you: the computer ALT . It requires all the attention because it is really green and responsible. The start-up Bordeaux meta- it has designed an entirely eco-computer and definitely responds to issues of sustainable development.

A completely redesigned PC: construction, energy consumption and server network were carefully designed to be as responsible as possible, but also for a longer life.
Single, integrated whole, completely silent, with a power of 20 W against 107 W average for a similar post, and designed using recyclable materials "Made in France" (made in Aquitaine where possible). No need to fan through the aluminum which protects parts that heat. Only 12 pieces cons about 80 for a PC: no welding, no glue, nothing is chemically treated and everything even recycles the screen (usually a big problem). The parts are assembled in France in Talence (33) and Bidart (64) All the software will be installed from the server that can quench all the remote stations at a given time. This is a partial list, I invite you to discover their websites: http:// meta- it.fr and http://alt. meta- it.fr (the latest revision but they are still available).
An analysis of the life cycle of the product will be available soon, what will be a first for a computer. No wrapping or packaging to the chagrin of marketers: just a trunk, reusable. Finally, uncommon practice, enterprise customers will be able to burn their logo on the machine.

I wish them a media buzz sweeps over France, Europe, the world (no exaggeration, remain modest)!
A note for those concerned that these computers are not for individuals. These are business computers whose total cost is optimized network.

How To Raise Snowmobile Suspension

Cantona IS Bicback

To promote the recycling operation to its razors " Bic recycles " launched in April last Bic recycles one of its most famous spots , the 1995 with Cantona.
This communication strategy is not only completely irrelevant (play on recycling) but in addition it can only cause the membership with a wide audience. Despite 15 years separating the two commercials, Cantona is known (and appreciated) by all: the younger as the older but also the female gender and even anti-football.

Both spots are built the same way. Remember: in 1995 we saw the two brothers Joel and Eric Cantona soccer players on a couch. Eric, suspended by his club until the end of the season, used the classic Bic orange while Joel, his younger striker OM, shaved with the new Bic, green and two blades (Euro-Agency RSCG). At the time pranks, anger and unpredictability of Eric made him a man "beyond redemption". Right Hemisphere has had the bright idea of using malignant and the new image of Eric Cantona to promote new recyclable razors. Thus we see in this spot recycled the new Cantona became responsible dialogue with his double in 1995.

1995:

In 2010:

Principle of Operation Bic recycles "
Once used, you send your batch razors by mail (envelope you receive at home once registered on the site ). The envelopes are handled by a help center at work (structure adapted to the professional activity of disabled workers). Then razors are crushed and processed into parts washing machine. You get in exchange for coupons.

As noted Paul Baudean plan media remains poor. We're not in 1995 but in 2010, and a TV spot swinging alone is not worth much. This kind of operation is just made to be relayed via various tools (Facebook, smartphones application ...). A website does exist ( www.bicrecycle.com ), it also allows to share on his wall FB system recovery Bic razors. A teaser Bic recycles your friends "is planned but not yet implemented. A teaser is not it supposed to buzz before, not after the product launch?!
Another point is not it a bit complex and cons of the current operation that to send an envelope to the user who will refer again to receive (more) coupons?
Finally and most importantly, it lacks a caution money of the operation as an environmental organization.

A nice pub, therefore, but lacking in substance if you dig a little!

No Sew Fleece Tie Scarfs

And for you is what "Marjolaine"? Hyundai shines green

Some Marjoram is a plant near the thyme. For other Marjoram is a first landing straight on the reality TV. Finally, for fans of organic Marjoram is the exhibition of organic and sustainable development, reference in this area. It opens this Saturday at the Parc Floral de Paris (from November 6 to 14).
To accommodate "some" 80 000 visitors, some 550 exhibitors including manufacturers, artisans, farmers, merchants, building scientists, climatologists and young designers will be present to share their passion, products, ideas. On the menu lounge Marjolaine so: meetings, discoveries, debates, tastings, lectures, films, ... purchases and exchanges.

Because that the show does not limit itself to meet the exhibitors! During those nine days lectures, video screenings and workshops on coming.
The conferences will discuss and reflect on the great issues of society. A day will be dedicated to individual and collective resistance against such practices as greenwashing. Note, therefore, a panel discussion on Saturday at around 16h eco-laundering. Around the table will be present, among others, the authors of "When 4X4 save the planet" Alexandre Pasche founder of the agency Eco & Co or the CEO of the association Acting for the Environment Stephen Kerckhove.
workshops will also better understand the methods and products. Finally, you can meet at Café Ecolo of Nature & Progress authors (including Marie-Monique Robin author of The World According to Monsanto or Jean-Paul JAUD director of Our children will accuse us), lecturers, NGOs and associations .
Green Coffee Program

But originality, this year, are the "Solidarity trade Marjolaine " organized in partnership with the coordination of salts Ile-de-France ( local exchange systems), whose concept is based on barter dematerialized. Specifically, visitors can exchange services, according to their wishes and know-how during cosmetic house or organic food, garden maintenance, piano lessons, language classes, childcare, volunteer exchange ... Offers and requests may be already available on the website .

You should know that the founder of the company organizing the show Marjolaine ( SPAS) is Claude Dumont (former CEO of SPAS), a pioneer of organic and former president of WWF.
Sébastien Vasseur, part of the organizing team of the show last twenty years has answered my questions so that we know more about the background of the show.
So he explained that all products presented the show are products previously selected by the Progress & Nature (Nature & Progrès is behind this show), which then guarantees the quality of products offered to visitors. This is the 35 th edition of the show, exhibitors are increasing annually, to want to be present while the boundaries of space on the park are reached for many years. The team can afford to focus on qualitative development by seeking quality but also consistency, diversity and ethics. Little chance of hitting an exponent which is more bio by chance than conviction!
There is also a search for environmentally in materials used in the show: the removal of carpeting in the aisles of the show, provision of garbage sorting and outdoor toilets or shadowed-of composters for restaurateurs to get rid of their organic waste.
However Sébastien Vasseur reminded me of the technical and logistical organization of events of this magnitude, which reduces the flexibility and prevent or at least slow the progress of such efforts. Thus, the team had wanted to change the partitions for melamine board partitions but after several studies, it was concluded that the life of a cardboard partition, much less a partition Melamine, does not adequately palliated the environmental benefit of cardboard. Engage in environmentally friendly is a winding path strewn with obstacles!
